Other Positive Vibration Events

The Positive Vibration team bring reggae royalty to Liverpool year-round - not just during the summer festival.

SATURDAY 17TH FEBRUARY: Mykal Rose - The Sounds of Black Uhuru

We're honoured to be bringing to Liverpool one of Jamaica's most distinguished singers, Mykal Rose. As a member of Black Uhuru, Rose was one of the foundation stones of the roots movement, before launching a successful career in the modern dancehalls.  His work with Uhuru helped bring the group a Grammy, while his distinctive vocals launched an entire musical style - the Waterhouse sound.

On Saturday 17th February 2018, Rose will be performing a very special show, featuring songs from Uhuru albums - Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner, Red, Sensimilla, Chill Out, Tear it Up Live, and Grammy award-winning, Anthem.

Rose will be backed by the mighty, Mafia & Fluxy.  Support on the night comes from Liverpool-based sound system, One a penny sound system.
